Dr. Rhoden is very knowledgeable and was so thorough in his examination and analysis of my running, while also making it understandable and relevant to me. This is such a great service and RunLab has all the right experts. I think every runner should take the time to get their running analyzed, it's so important! I can highly recommend RunLab and Dr. Rhoden.

My son (15) had a great experience at RunLab today and we are so grateful for the insight needed to prevent further running injury. Dr Matt B was very knowledgeable and understanding. Jocelyn ran a fab gait analysis—we are excited for the results.

I recently started running and experienced knee issues around the IT band that slowed me down or make it hard to walk or run for weeks. After a few months of trying 'internet' solutions, I came to run lab to solve the issue.
At the first session, my gait was analyzed and my incorrect gait was explained to me. I was running incorrectly which could be fine for short 1-3 mile distances but was causing damage during longer runs.
My gait was fixed in a couple of sessions and after a few … More weeks I was able to run long distances without pain in my hips and knees. I went from having some fatigue and pain from doing 10+ mile runs to just normal exhaustion.
Runlab is extremely specialized and I am lucky I decided to come here to fix my running issues. -

Knowledgeable trainers with a focus on goals you set with them. They have good insight into what training one needs to keep in shape and improve toward goals.
Also, I’ve rarely seen as wise a use of space. It’s not a huge facility, but they give each client the exercise they need in the space they need. -

I went there initially to treat a calf injury. When I was able to run again, we started working on improving my running form. I'm now running 40+ miles a week, feeling strong and injury free.

RunLab was great! I saw Dr. Eric Rhoden to help with a calf strain I suffered a few weeks before a half marathon . I was terrified I’d not be able to run it, but with his expertise , advice, and training plan, I not only managed to run it , but ended up with a PR ! Highly recommend!

RunLab is AWESOME!!! Great analysis of running and helping me recover from an injury. Super professional! Detailed recommendations for strengthening exercises. Helped me get my form better so I correct what was causing the injury.

Working with the RunLab in general, but Dr. Matthew Bierschenk in particular has been an amazing experience (worth driving from Houston to Austin for). He and his team developed a personalized exercise plan that not only addressed my immediate concerns but also focused on long-term injury prevention. If you want to "run happy" go pay them a visit. Happy trails 🙂

These guys are amazing. I have been having a complicated issue with my left ankle. After each run my ankle would hurt for couple of days sometimes a week. I had stopped running all together due to constant discovery after the run. I had tried multiple orthopedist and physiotherapy as well but no results. Turns out it was my bad running form. With runlab writing one week I started to see improvement. After my 5th session I started running pain free. I am now able to go for longer run and enjoy one … More of my favorite activity. Dr. Eric is fantastic. He helped me understand the form while I am running and correct the course as needed. Definitely recommend anyone having issues with running.

Multiple injuries and surgeries. 2 months on double crutches.
2 years later, I was running again. Year 3 - marathon. The context here around better form, enhanced biomechanics (I have a masters in mechanical engineering and I can’t unsee their explanations), and genuine care - all these have helped me somehow stay injury free and close in on the pace I held 7 years ago in my 20’s, but this time way more sustainably.
Can you run better? Most can. Dr. Halazs and his team will help. 1000%. I swear, … More it’s like one of the best boxing gyms - except for running.
The elderly, the recovering, the amateur, and the elite. It’s all growth here. -
